Stepped on the scales a few months ago and decided that if I wanted a better quality of life I needed to get fitter and lose weight. I am not obese and there will be no Channel 5 programmes about me, really am an average person who used to be fit and active who lost his way a bit. I really could be fitter!
Made some progress and a lost a bit of timber, pre Christmas of course! Hit 37 in December and decided to get focused and try to improve my health and wellbeing.
Reading loads of articles on exercise, nutrition and diets and the thinking behind this account is somewhere I can post ideas to, for my benefit more than anything else. Follow if you want and if it helps with your fitness journey great.
I will also be using this to track my own fitness journey and giving my thoughts on what works for me. Not an expert but have some understanding of sport and exercise science. I am that person in the gym who is learning as they go along. Lets see where this takes us!
